Heather is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) through Yoga Alliance and also holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science. Heather is a wife and a mother of four vibrant, energetic boys.
She brings her patience and soothing voice to every class fostering a nurturing environment for students to feel completely at home. During her class, her focus is on each moment as she encourages students to learn and explore themselves through the practice of postures and breath, and toning using a singing bowl and Tingsha cymbals.
Heather has always had a love of physical expression and that was expressed by dancing in high school and studying dance in college which awakened her interest in yoga.
After her first group yoga class, she fell in love. Yoga has brought peace, balance and connectedness to her life and she feels it is her calling to share yoga with others so that they too can experience this peace.

By increasing feelings of compassion toward ourselves and others, we become kinder toward others, and we are less critical and more accepting. Practicing compassion also activates the areas of the brain responsible for healing and calmness. We will use guided expansive breath work, self massage, moving slowly into postures and pausing and settling. Balancing and focusing. Inspirational thoughts for each class to lift your spirits. Anyone can do this yoga!
